After more than 25 years supporting the Department of Defense — as a Navy Sailor, a federal civilian at the Defense Logistics Agency, and most recently as Senior Vice President at Amyx, Inc. — I made the decision to start something new.
The Journey
My path in defense technology began in 1993 aboard U.S. Navy vessels, where I served as an Electronic Technician. Those early years taught me something that has guided my entire career: technology serves the mission, not the other way around.
From the Navy, I moved through roles at Alcatel-Lucent and Northrop Grumman before spending a decade as an IT Program Manager at the Defense Logistics Agency. Those 10 years at DLA gave me an intimate understanding of how the federal government buys, manages, and depends on IT services.
In 2015, I joined Amyx, Inc. as a Program Manager. Over the next decade, I progressed through Director of DLA Programs, Vice President, and Senior Vice President — helping grow the company’s defense portfolio and playing a critical role in the capture and delivery of 30 task orders under the DLA JETS IDIQ.
Why Now?
After years of building within a large organization, I saw an opportunity to do something different. The federal IT market needs companies that combine deep technical expertise with genuine mission understanding — companies where the people making the decisions have actually walked the halls of the agencies they serve.
